Todd Humphreys in the News – Drones Roaming Airspace
Todd Humphreys was interviewed by local news stations on Amazon’s plans for drone delivery. He and his student Kyle Wesson also recenlty published an article in the Nov. issue of Scientific American.

ASE/EM assistant professor Todd Humphreys and his students successfully “spoofed” the civilian drone seen above by fooling its GPS signals. He and his team did the same with an $80 superyacht at sea this past summer.
Humphreys and his graduate student, Kyle Wesson, published an article in the Nov. 2013 issue of Scientific American entitled “Better Security Measures Are Needed before Drones Roam U.S. Airspace. Read the preview here.
Humphreys was also recently interviewed by a local news station to discuss the future of Amazon’s recent announcement to use drones to deliver packages within thirty mintues or less.
