Seminar Abstract
There are often many ways to solve the same task. Which way is the “best”, however, often depends on preference for some options over others. Different communities have recently become interested in incorporating preference as a guiding factor during agent design, but with limited connections between them. In this talk, I present a work-in-progress vision for a unified view on preference adaptation and discuss the challenges to overcome to make progress on this topic across various fields devoted to the design of well-calibrated autonomous agents.
About the Speaker
Pau de las Heras Molins is a researcher interested in creating intelligent and autonomous systems that can solve complex decision-making problems while adhering to preference specifications. He is currently with Télécom Paris, Institut Polytechnique de Paris working with Georgios Bakirtzis.
