Professor Robert Bishop has been elected a Fellow of the American Astronautical Society (AAS). He will be honored at a reception in conjunction with the AAS National Conference in Houston this December.
Dr. Bishop specializes in guidance, navigation and control of aerospace vehicles. His research interests lie in navigation of aerospace vehicles, attitude dynamics, estimation and control, and autonomous systems. He holds the Joe J. King Professorship in Engineering.
