Ricardo Palacios has been selected to receive the 2009-10 ASE/EM Department Staff Excellence Award. Ricardo is currently employed in the ENS Machine Shop as a Scientific Instrument Maker II.

“Ricardo gives extra care and attention towards every part that he builds to ensure exquisite quality.”
“I have had to collaborate with him on many projects over the last two years, without his help my research would not have advanced in the manner that it has.”
"Ricardo often takes extra efforts to finish the products, and spends additional time answering my questions.”
As recipient of the award Ricardo will receive $500 and a plaque. A reception will be hosted in his honor in the near future.
