J. Tinsley Oden, Associate Vice President for Research and Director of the Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences at The University of Texas as Austin has been notified that he will be awarded the Doctor Honoris Causa degree from Ecole Normale Superieure Cachan (ENSC), France. The honorary degree will be presented by the Board of the Scientific Council of ENSC in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the field of Computational Mechanics.
