About

K. Ravi-Chandar joined the Department of Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics as a professor in 2000. Previously, he was a professor at the University of Houston. Ravi-Chandar is also the associate director of the Center for Mechanics of Solids, Structures, and Materials (CMSSM) and editor of the International Journal of Fracture. He serves on the steering committee of the Texas Materials Institute (TMI).
