Graduates of our department have been expanding the limits of aerospace engineering since 1942. Our alumni have gone on to become entrepreneurs, government and industry leaders, astronauts, distinguished professors, pilots, military leaders, data engineers and more.

Our graduates have made significant contributions in a variety of fields. From flying in space to mapping oil spills from space, from teaching our future engineers to be leaders to leading engineering businesses – our alumni continue to make a positive impact on the world with their knowledge and skills.

The Academy of Distinguished Alumni was established to honor graduates of the aerospace, computational and engineering mechanics programs who have led distinguished careers in industry, government or academia, and to recognize their outstanding accomplishments.

The External Advisory Committee (EAC) consists of industry and government professionals who hold responsible engineering positions in industry or government laboratories.
