About
Mary Wheeler’s expertise is in the numerical solution of coupled partial differential equations. Her research areas include modeling reactive and multiphase flows and parallel computations. She joined the Cockrell School of Engineering faculty in 1995 and has published more than 160 technical articles and reports.
Wheeler is a member of the National Academy of Engineering and the recipient of the 1997 Women in Aerospace Outstanding Aerospace Educator Award.
